Heather Meehan is responsible for setting and executing the company’s strategic growth plan and overseeing the management team at Quantabio. After joining the company in 2012, she was instrumental in the company’s transformation from a small and very focused OEM spinout to a leading global business that now has a presence in more than 100 countries worldwide. Prior to Quantabio, she spent 10 years at QIAGEN, where she held numerous sales, business development, marketing and product management positions with increasing responsibility. Heather holds a PhD in molecular chemotherapeutics from the University of Minnesota and a BS in biology and chemistry and a mini-MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

Brian Komorous is a proven team leader with decades of experience commercializing innovative life science tools and molecular diagnostics for high-growth cancer, infectious disease, inherited disease, and applied testing markets. Prior to Quantabio, he held positions with increasing responsibility at Kapa Biosystems (now Roche Molecular), RainDance Technologies (now Bio-Rad), Beckman Coulter Genomics (formerly Agencourt, now Danaher), Protein Forest (now Bio-Techne), Becton Dickinson Diagnostic Solutions, and Labcon North America. Brian holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a BS Cum Laude in biochemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Curt Otto is an experienced life science sales professional with a demonstrated track record of reagent and instrumentation sales to academic, hospital/clinical, biotech and pharma markets. Over the past 20 years, he has held commercial positions with increasing responsibility at QIAGEN, Promega Corporation, and Buckman. Curt holds a BA in biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Ruth Rottscheidt brings more than 15 years of experience in various international sales and marketing roles. Since joining Quantabio in 2019, she has been focused on supporting both the sales partners as well as end customers to effectively bring Quantabio’s life science solutions to the market in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Prior to Quantabio, Ruth held commercial leadership positions at biotechrabbit and 5 PRIME (now QIAGEN). Ruth holds an MS in zoology from the University of Bonn and a PhD in evolutionary genetics from the University of Cologne.

Kevin Bobofchak is a results-driven leader who brings extensive academic research and life science product management experience. During his career, he has a demonstrated ability to manage product life cycles, workflow optimization, quality control, and other critical product initiatives. He previously managed products at Lonza, QIAGEN, Ariadne Genomics (now Elsevier), and Elsevier. Prior to that he was a scientist at Medimmune (now AstraZeneca) and Washington University School of Medicine. Kevin holds a PhD in protein biochemistry from Loyola University of Chicago and a BS in chemistry from Hope College. He conducted his postdoctoral research fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Monal Patel brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and support roles for leading life sciences companies. She was responsible for establishing the global technical support function for the Quantabio product portfolio. Prior to joining Quantabio in 2011, Monal had a successful 10-year sales career at Bio-Rad and worked as an analytical scientist at GSK. She holds a PhD in molecular biology from The University of North Texas and a BS in biomedical chemistry from Sheffield Hallam University (UK).

Mathias Christoph brings more than 10 years of experience marketing and supporting innovative life science products. Prior to Quantabio, he held several technical services, product management and senior marketing positions at 5 PRIME (now QIAGEN) and QIAGEN. Mathias holds a degree in molecular biology from the University of Oldenburg (Germany).

Subrata Panja works collaboratively with scientists in different diagnostic labs, genomic core facilities and academic research labs to optimize and troubleshoot new assays, genetic tests and workflows. He has been a driving force behind the development of new NGS protocols and several product enhancements that have improved the speed and robustness of cDNA synthesis, PCR, qPCR and RT-qPCR applications. Prior to Quantabio, Subrata worked as a R&D scientist at GeneDx. Subrata received his PhD in biophysics from the University of Kalyani (India) and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University.
