Quanta BioSciences supply relationship with Bio-Rad has been terminated. Bio-Rad does not have access to Quanta’s proprietary formulations. You can now order Quanta BioSciences brand through VWR. Learn how below.

CROSS REFERENCE GUIDE OF LEGACY AND NEXT GENERATION REAGENTS

History

Beginning in 2002 and continuing until the recent termination of our supply relationship, Quanta BioSciences developed and manufactured Bio-Rad’s complete line of qPCR reagents including all iScript™ cDNA Synthesis kits and qPCR SuperMixes for SYBR® Green and TaqMan® Detection.

Why is This Important for Your Research?

Bio-Rad Laboratories does not have access to Quanta’s proprietary formulation. Therefore the name of Bio-Rad’s reagents may not change but the formulations will once their existing inventory of Quanta produced reagents is depleted.

Your Options

  1. You can continue your projects using legacy Bio-Rad formulations. These formulations will only be available from Quanta BioSciences once Bio-Rad’s existing inventory of Quanta-produced reagents is depleted. To ensure uninterrupted access to the Quanta-produced formulations, you should switch now.
  2. OR:
  3. You can improve your results by converting to Quanta’s improved next generation reagents. The next generation reagents offer superior reproducibility and sensitivity.
