qScript™ cDNA Synthesis

qScript™ cDNA Synthesis sets a new standard for reproducibility, specificity, speed and convenience in qPCR and RT-PCR applications.

qScript cDNA SuperMix
- for quantitative, real-time PCR applications

There's a reason qScript cDNA SuperMix is copied sometimes poorly by so many others. Actually there are a few reasons:

  • Our patented priming method which blends randomers and oligo (dT) primers in a specific ratio to ensure optimal representation of all transcript sequences in the cDNA product
  • Single-tube SuperMix format eliminates variability inherent in other kits requiring multiple liquid transfers and handling steps
  • RNase H(+) enzyme ensures residual RNA does not interfere with PCR amplification
  • Wide input range of template means it can reverse transcribe rare transcripts to abundant reference genes and everything in between

qScript Flex cDNA Kit
- for cDNA synthesis with gene-specific primers, or RT-PCR applications requiring fragments >500 bases

The Flex kit contains the same qScript enzyme in an a la carte format. The user can use their own gene specific primers or either the randomers or oligo(dT) included separately in the kit. This kit is ideal for end-point RT-PCR applications with relatively long (500bp+) amplicons, nested RT-PCR applications or other situations where it is desirable to control the priming of the 1st-strand synthesis step.
